Ahmed El Fishawy

is an Egyptian actor and rapper, known for his role in the group "Gito Farouk."

Early Career:

Born into an artistic family, Ahmed is the son of actress Somaya El Alfy and the late actor Farouk El Fishawy. His first appearance was as a child in the television production "Kabreet" in 1985 when he was only five years old. He later appeared with his father in the film "El Morshed" in 1989 at the age of nine. In 1998, he participated in the film "El Batal" alongside actor Ahmed Zaki. However, he officially began his acting career in 2000 in the series

"Wajh Al Qamar" with actress Faten Hamama. In 2001, he took part in the series "Hadith Al Sabah Wal Massa," based on the story by Nobel laureate Naguib Mahfouz. In 2002, he starred in the film "Shabab Ala El Hawa." His acting career continued to flourish, leading to his first leading role in the series "Afaryt Al Sayala" in 2004 and the film "Al Hissah Al Sabaa" in the same year, marking his debut as a lead actor in cinema.

In 2002, he co-hosted the program "Yalla Shabab" alongside Ahmed El Shokairi. The show aimed to engage young people in the Arab world, encouraging them to be productive and active in their societies. It provided advice, guidance, and addressed important issues, featuring discussions with scholars and religious figures. Regarding this experience, Ahmed El Fishawy stated, "I hosted the program on one of the variety channels. It is not a religious program.

We talk to guests about religious and social matters, seeking benefit from them. I am not a preacher or a sheikh." He continued, "Once, Hani Khogali, the creator of the idea, decided to move the program to one of the religious channels. People from that time began announcing their opinions about me, saying that I had changed and became a preacher." He emphasized, "I am not a preacher. I am like all young people who go through different stages in life. I may change my opinions and explore new aspects of my religion and society. Until today, I am still learning."
