Majed El Kedwany (December 10, 1967 -):
Majed El Kedwany is an Egyptian actor. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and another from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. While studying at the Institute of Dramatic Arts, which he joined after studying set design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Minya University, he began his career with several amateur plays before participating in television productions like "Al Qunqod" and "We Do Not Sow Thorns."
He gained fame for his roles in numerous Arabic comedic and dramatic works in both cinema and television. His artistic career started in the mid-1990s, and some of his most famous films include "Jay Fi Al-Saree", "Al Rahina", "Tayir Inta Wala Teraagaa Wala Istislam" (The Bloody Fist), "Hepta", "Al Asleyeen", and others.
Hind Sabri
is a Tunisian-Egyptian actress known for her work in Egypt.
Life:
Born in the Gafsa Governorate in Tunisia, she gained recognition for her roles in two films, "Mawsim al-Rijal" and "Samt al-Qusur," directed by Mufida Tlatli. Director Inas El Degheidy noticed her and invited her to Cairo, assigning her the lead role in the film "Teenager's Diaries" in 2001. This film, telling the story of an Egyptian teenage girl through her diaries, brought her widespread fame in the Arab world. She continued to shine in various roles, becoming one of the most prominent actresses in Egyptian cinema.
Among her notable works are "Mowaten w Mokhber," "Haramey," and "Terrorism and Kebab." She gained acclaim for her performance in "Ahla al-Awqat." Although initially known for her provocative scenes, she later diversified her roles, showcasing her talent in films like "Ayz Hayk" and "Ezzay El-Banat Tehebak."
In 2004, she won the Best Actress award from the Egyptian Catholic Center for her role in "Ahla al-Awqat." She participated as a jury member in the 2007 Damascus International Film Festival.
Hend Sabry holds a master's degree in intellectual property law and has been a registered lawyer in Tunisia since February 2007. In 2019, she became the first Arab woman to join the jury of the Venice International Film Festival.
Personal Life:
She was engaged to the Syrian actor Bassel Khayat, but they separated after two and a half years. Later, she married Egyptian businessman Ahmed El Sherif.
