"Olympus Has Fallen

Plot summary:

Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) is a former Secret Service agent and ex-Special Forces soldier who has been stripped of his rank and removed from the President's security detail. They captured the US President, the Vice President, South Korean Prime Minister Lee, the Secretary of Defense, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and held them hostage until their dangerous terrorist demands were met.

The terrorists are demanding the withdrawal of the Seventh Fleet from the Sea of Japan, and American forces in South Korea are threatening to kill the president and other prisoners, as well as to use nuclear weapons if they resort to violence. The situation is getting worse, becoming a bigger and more catastrophic disaster. Mike Banning must overcome his past and move forward to eliminate terrorists and liberate the White House.

In a perilous race against time, Banning becomes the nation's last hope, facing extreme challenges and using his skills as a formidable former Special Forces agent. As he navigates the treacherous terrain inside the besieged White House, Banning must confront not only the physical threats posed by terrorists but also the demons of his past.
