Forbes magazine listed Salman Khan among the highest-paid celebrities globally in 2015 and 2018, making him the highest-ranked Indian in those years.
Khan made his debut in the film "Biwi Ho To Aisi" in 1988 in a supporting role, and his first commercial success came with the film "Maine Pyar Kiya" in 1989, where he won his first Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. His father's second wife is Helen, a former actress who appeared in several films with him.
