is an Indian actor, film producer, and television personality. With a cinematic career spanning over three decades, Salman Khan has garnered numerous awards, including two National Film Awards as a producer and two Filmfare Awards as an actor. He is regarded as one of the most commercially successful actors in Indian cinema. Forbes magazine listed Salman Khan among the highest-paid celebrities globally in 2015 and 2018, making him the highest-ranked Indian in those years.

Khan made his debut in the film "Biwi Ho To Aisi" in 1988 in a supporting role, and his first commercial success came with the film "Maine Pyar Kiya" in 1989, where he won his first Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. His star rose with several successful films during that period, such as "Saajan" (1991), "Hum Aapke Hain Koun" (1994), "Karan Arjun" (1995), "Judwaa" (1997), and "Biwi No.1" (1999).

In 1999, Salman Khan won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the film "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" (1998). Upbringing:

Salman Khan is the eldest son of the screenwriter Salim Khan. His grandfather was a Muslim from Afghanistan who came to India and settled in the state of Madhya Pradesh, while his mother is a Marathi Hindu. Salman himself once stated: "Half Muslim, half Hindu." His father's second wife is Helen, a former actress who appeared in several films with him. He has two brothers, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan, and two sisters, Alvira and Arpita (who is his adopted sister).

Personal Life:

In 2004, Salman Khan was chosen as the seventh most attractive man in the world by People magazine in the United States. Khan has participated in numerous charitable activities throughout his career. On October 11, 2007, Salman accepted an offer from Madame Tussauds museum in London to create a lifelike wax statue of him. He thus became the fourth Indian actor to have a wax statue made in his likeness at the museum.
